Tampa Interventional Radiologist: Doctor Brian Montague

Dr. Montague attended medical school at Johns Hopkins, after graduating valedictorian from the Unversity of California Irvine with a degree in Biology and a minor in Spanish Language. After medical school, he underwent a rigorous medical and critical care internship at UCLA, where he was voted Outstanding Intern of the Year by his faculty and colleagues. He then went on to become Chief Resident during his Radiology Residency at University of California San Diego. He completed his medical training at Stanford University, with dedicated subspecialty training in Vascular and Interventional Radiology at Stanford University Hospital and Lucille Packard Children's Hospital.
Dr. Montague is experienced in all image-guided, minimally invasive procedures. His specific interests include treatment of liver tumors (SIR-Spheres radioembolization, chemoembolization, radiofrequency ablation), treatment of uterine fibroids and pelvic congestion syndrome, treatment of venous disease (DVT, pulmonary embolism, May-Thurner syndrome, superior vena cava syndrome), Inferior Vena Cava (IVC) filter removal, vascular malformation embolization, and pediatric interventions.
