Treatment for Dialated Veins in the Scrotum: Varicocele Embolization

Men can have pain, disfigurement or infertility from dilated veins in the scrotum called varicoceles. Most commonly, the varicocele is on the left but both sides can be involved. There is an effective, relatively painless, non-surgical treatment offered by SDI Interventional Radiology called varicocele embolization, where the veins can be easily closed down from the inside without any surgery or cutting.
